This page shows some of the many options of our METOCHECK-Mini measuring software

The Toolbox-Line

Here you can select all functions and define software set-us.

The toolbar left top corner shows these icons.

Choose the camera for single images, the film for movies, the clock for series of images or the

computer for direct saving of images to the computer

The toolbar right hand top shows these 3 icons to control the imaging capture

The „Freeze“-button allows to freeze the image once it is focused to then make measures without the

risk of deviations when moving the MiniScope.

„Live“-button switches to the live image recorded by MiniScope

With „Capture“ you save the image (including all comments or measures you have made before

Calibration

The calibration for each magnification is made within seconds. Our manual shows the calibration step by step. All you need is a calibration scale, optional available from ASMETEC. Just focus the scale and enter the distance in the calibration menu on one of 8 memory sets.

When calibrating you can input a name, the dimension (mm, µm, inch etc) and decimal place

We recommend to use a calibration for each magnification of 40x and 140x in mm and µm.
A wise description could be e.g. "40x - mm" or "140x - µm"

Measuring with MiniScope è to top

Select a measuring tool from the toolbar (or with right mouse click) such as distance, line, line with guides, circle, circle with guides, angle, pixel value crosshair and mouse click the edges of the item you want to measure. For distances you need 2 mouse clicks, for circles, radius, angle 3 o4 4. The last mouse click will print the measured value into the image where the mouse button is placed.

Save the image with measured data or copy it into a test report template of any office software.

ASMETEC provides free of charge, user editable templates based on Microsoft Office Word and Excel

A professional quality report is made within few minutes using the METOCHECK MiniScope System.
