Dust Cleaning Principle

The panels to be cleaned from unattached dust (e.g. mould, hair, debris, airborne particles, lint etc), in many cases electrostatic charged and so collecting more airborne particles are fed to the sheet cleaning machine.

The panels then run through a single sided or double sided DCR roller system. This may be a one direction cleaner to feed the cleaned panel to next working process. It also may be an auto reverse system which returns the cleaned panel back to the operator. In this case there are antistatic bars at entry and exit of the cleaning machine to prevent re-contamination.

Special elastomer rubber rolls (DCR - dust cleaning rolls) are in contact with the substrate surface and collect all particles and transfer these to the adhesive rolls which trap the particles.

The cleaned sheets then run through an antistatic field generated by antistatic bars to prevent re-contamination of airborne particles.

To minimized airborne particles we recommend to use METOCLEAN CLAIR airscrubbing systems which collect all airborne particles down to size 0,3 µm and turn any room into a class 7 clean room
